  8. You can forget the slow hd-boot & any other, when they are validating and
  9. booting up at the same time. It will keep your winchester head-stepping
  10. motor for the next 100 years too...and you can avoid some program failure.
  11. (For example: one program would like to read a file from an unvalidated and
  12. possibly currupt volume.)

  14. It looks around, and waits until ALL disk devices are validated. But if a disk
  15. device can't be validated LessSeek will wait for a CTRL C. And the startup
  16. will go on...
